Kate Moss's friends allegedly fear she may kill herself over her cocaine scandal.

Insiders claim the sexy supermodel is cracking under the strain the exposé - which led to her being dropped by Chanel, Burberry and H&M - has caused.

A source revealed: "It really is quite frightening. There is a chance this whole thing could end in tragedy. Some of us are even worried she could kill herself."

Kate is said to have been particularly distraught at losing her big modelling contracts. The friend is quoted by Britain's Grazia magazine as saying: "All her life she's had to be tough and confident. She's buckling under the pressure and a few of us are really worried about her state of mind."

Yesterday it was alleged Kate's nose is caving in after years of cocaine abuse. Photos of the sexy supermodel taken at a music festival earlier this year show an apparent indentation above the catwalk queen's right nostril.

Harley Street plastic surgeon Dr Jeya Prakash told Britain's Heat magazine: "I can't say for certain, but looking at the most recent picture of Kate, it is possible that drug use has had an effect on her nose."

"The septum is what divides the right and left nostril, and if that thins due to cocaine use, it can affect the tip or the side of the nose."
