Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake are planning to get married in a secret Christmas ceremony, it has been claimed.

The couple have invited 150 close friends to a festive party in Hawaii to "celebrate their romance" but pals believe it is a veiled invite to the pair's wedding.

A source is quoted by Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "They're not saying if there's going to be a marriage but said it will a time of new beginnings."

Justin has made no secret of his desire to wed the sexy actress but has always insisted he wanted the nuptials to be a low-key affair.

Last month, Cameron and Justin's romance was said to be on the rocks after the pair had a blazing row in a Los Angeles nightclub.

The engaged couple clashed during a night out at the trendy Spider Club after the ' Charlie's Angels' star allegedly spotted Justin flirting with a "curvy blonde."

Cameron and Justin have always had a rocky relationship, which was tested last year when British model Lucy Clarkson alleged she had enjoyed a night of passion with the pop heartthrob, although Justin vehemently denied the allegations.

Justin's mum, Lynn, also allegedly tried to talk her son out of proposing to Cameron - eight years his senior - because she didn't think he was ready to settle down.
