The singer is said to be "shopping for men" during her trip to the British capital.

She reportedly told pals: "I'm going to find me a man on this trip."

The insider is quoted on America's MSNBC internet site as saying: "She's heard that British men are complete gentlemen and she's ready for some of that."

"I must say she was looking quite lovely on the trip so I think she will be successful."

Meanwhile, Mariah has confessed to sharing a bath - with her dog. The sexy singer says her pampered pooch, Jack, always jumps in when she's running the tub.

She admitted: "If I'm running a bath all of a sudden I'll hear a splash and Jack will have jumped into the tub."

"It's something that has been happening for ages - it's like, 'It's like Jack is in the tub again, swimming around.'"
