Madonna wants to follow in her husband Guy Ritchie's footsteps - and direct a movie.

The pop queen - whose latest documentary, "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret," airs on British TV this week - says she'd love to try being behind the camera for a change.

The 47-year-old star said: "I would love to direct a film."

"I felt very inspired by making this movie, and I learned a lot about filmmaking and storytelling."

"I would like to do it on my own next time."

Meanwhile, Madonna has revealed she is convinced her two children will follow in her footsteps to become chart-topping musicians.

The singer says Rocco, five, is musically gifted while nine-year-old Lourdes is likely to start her career, like she did, as a professional dancer.

The stunning singer revealed: "They are both very musical. But Lourdes sings quite well and she's an incredible ballerina."
