Cliff Richard wants Brad Pitt to play him in a movie version of his life.

The legendary singer says if anyone should play him in a big screen adaptation of his 40-year career should be the Hollywood heartthrob.

But the star said if sexy Brad can't sing he would choose British crooner Daniel Bedingfield instead.

He revealed: "I've seen movies where people play other people when they don't look anything like the person. So I pick Brad Pitt."

He added to Britain's GMTV website: "If he can't sing, I'll get Daniel Bedingfield to sing for him!"
