SEAL IN LEGAL BATTLE WITH EX-AGENT ( Seal)

Seal is being sued by his former agent John Wadlow.

The music manager has taken the Grammy award-winning singer to the High Court over claims the star failed to pay him commission on earnings from his first two albums.

The pair first met in 1987 when Wadlow was a partner at Beethoven Street Studios.

His lawyer told the court: "At this point Seal was an undiscovered singer and songwriter and had not attracted any interest in record companies or publishers."

Wadlow claims he is rightfully owed the payments in accordance with an agreement signed in March 1995.

The "Kiss From A Rose" singer - married to supermodel Heidi Klum - denies the charges.

He told Mr Justice Gray: "I regarded Mr Wadlow as a father figure and someone I trusted, liked very much and respected."

Seal's self-titled 1991 debut album and follow-up album three years later both reached number one in the UK charts.
