PFEIFFER DIDN'T LOVE HUBBY AT FIRST (Michelle Pfeiffer)

The "Stardust" actress has confessed it was not love at first sight when she was introduced to the "Ally McBeal" creator - who she married in 1993 - on a group blind date, because he spent most of the evening speaking to her sister.

She said: "It wasn't instant love with David. We met on a blind date at a restaurant with a group of other people."

"We didn't really speak to each other that night. He talked to my sister and I talked to his friend."

"And he and my sister seemed to be hitting it off so I thought maybe we should set them up instead. But the friend said, 'Don't you dare.'"

Pfeiffer - who has two children, 14-year-old adopted daughter Claudia Rose and 13-year-old biological son John Henry, with Kelley - says the pair hit it off immediately when they finally got some time alone together.

She is quoted by Britain's Daily Express newspaper as saying: "We finally had a date where it was just the two of us, and here we are."

The 49-year-old actress is currently shooting "Chasing Montana," a comedy drama about a father-daughter relationship Kelley wrote specifically for her.
