Daft Punk Has Started Working on New Album ( Daft Punk) The band’s last album was titled “Human After All.”
It seems relevant, given that Kanye West’s “Stronger” has turned Daft Punk into a well known group in the United States, to announce that the French dance duo is working on their new album in a Paris studio.
The duo are currently recording a follow up to their well received 2005 record, Human After All.
Their long-time manager Busy P, explained the band’s status to In the Mix, saying: “The boys are in a studio in Paris at the moment. And I can’t wait to listen to their new stuff! The good thing is that they are making music at the moment.”
But as is the case with Daft Punk, and most dance groups for that matter, Busy P said: “They are slow, you know, they are taking their time, and they have a right.”
Busy P, although still in the Daft Punk inner circle, also revealed that he stepped down as the band’s manager to concentrate more on his label, Ed Banger.
