At just 23 years old, Ben Foster has already established himself as one of the industry's most promising and accomplished talents, having appeared in numerous film and television projects with some of Hollywood's most respected actors and directors. He can next be seen starring opposite Bruce Willis in Hostage. Ben plays one of three perpetrators holding a suburbanite family hostage after a failed robbery attempt.
Foster's credits include eclectic and impressive performances in both television and film. Ben continues his memorable role this season on HBO's award winning series "Six Feet Under," as Lauren Ambrose's love interest, Russell. He also received a 2003 Daytime Emmy Award for his dramatic portrayal of Trevor Adams, in Showtime's Original film "Bang Bang You're Dead."
Ben starred in Northfork, a Polish brothers film, opposite James Woods, Anthony Edwards, Darryl Hannah, and Nick Nolte, as well as 11:14, opposite Hilary Swank, Colin Hanks and Rachel Leigh Cook.
Foster's big break came when director Barry Levinson chose him to star as Ben Kurtzman in his Baltimore-based coming of age feature Liberty Heights. In 2000, Foster starred opposite Kirsten Dunst in Get Over It, and later opposite Tim Allen and Renee Russo in Disney Picture's Big Trouble. Foster was also part of the ensemble cast in the Emmy nominated HBO original film "The Laramie Project." Foster was featured in Joel Schumacher's Phone Booth last year.
