''LOST'' NAVEEN ANDREWS CONFESSED LOVE CHILD01/10/2006 ''Lost'' star Naveen Andrews has confessed to fathering a love child. The heartthrob actor - who plays Iraqi soldier Sayid Jarrah in the hit TV drama - has admitted the child was born after a short encounter with an unnamed woman last year. The baby was reportedly conceived when British-born Andrews split from girlfriend Barbara Hershey for a "brief period." The 35-year-old actor, who has been nominated for a prestigious Golden Globe Award for his role on the show, only recently discovered his fling had led to the birth of a baby boy - but plans to take responsibility for the tot. The actor said in a statement to the Associated Press: "I have every intention of assuming appropriate responsibility for the child." According to the star's publicist, the actor and actress Hershey - who at 57-years-old is more than twenty years older than Andrews - have reconciled and patched up their relationship. 2 |
