"I don't want to be known as the granddaughter of the Hiltons. I want to be
known as Paris." Paris Hilton
Young actress and model Paris Hilton is best recognized as a Hilton Hotel
heiress (shares empire legacy with sister Nicky). Not only the star of the Fox
hit reality series "The Simple Life" (with Nicole Richie), Paris has also
appeared on the big screen, playing roles in such recent films as The Cat in the
Hat (2003), Raising Helen (2004), The Hillz (2004) and House of Wax (2005). Soon

She will also star in "The Simple Life" (4th season) with her new costar,
actress Kimberly Stewart (Rod Stewart's daughter), who will be replacing her now
estranged friend Nicole Richie.
The heiress has drawn controversy several times. She first caught the public's
attention with her leaked homemade sex video (One Night In Paris) with then
boyfriend Rick Salomon (Shannen Doherty's ex husband) in 2003. Following the
incident, Paris reportedly was charged (but later escaped) with stealing a copy
of her One Night In Paris DVD from a Los Angeles newsstand in early 2005. Then
her TV commercial for burger chain Carl's Jr. found itself under protest by the
Parents Television Council because of her suggestive, soft-core porn in the ad.
5' 8" tall Paris has 34B-25-35 measurements and size 11 feet. The young
billionaire, whose trademarks are her blue colored contact lenses and the
quotation "That's Hot," is noted for her glitzy lifestyle and high media
coverage relationships. She has been linked to a string of famous names
including actors Leonardo DiCaprio, Edward Furlong, Jamie Kennedy, Simon Rex,
Australian Idol star Rob Mills, Sum 41 lead singer Deryck Whibley, producer
Robert Evans, nightclub owner Ingrid Casares, Tommy Hilfiger model Jason Shaw,
Backstreet Boys' Nick Carter, and boxer Oscar De La Hoya, as well as tennis
player Mark Philippoussis.
More recently, a report said that Paris has become engaged to her boyfriend, the
Greek shipping heir Paris Latsis, and marked the engagement with a barbecue
party in their Hollywood home. She also recently issued an apology to her
celebrity friends, via tabloid, after their private phone numbers and e-mail
addresses were released on the Internet when her mobile phone was hacked.
