Actor Scott Wolf makes a welcome return to series television by joining the
cast of the critically acclaimed drama Everwood as Dr. Jake Hartman.
Wolf's most recent television appearances include Spin City, as a love interest
to Heather Locklear's character, and the ABC Family original movie Picking Up
and Dropping Off, as a weatherman trying to recover from a painful divorce while
reestablishing a relationship with his son.
In his role as Bailey Salinger on the long-running series Party of Five, Wolf
completed six consecutive seasons, earning him accolades from critics and fans
alike.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Wolf was an athlete in love with the movies who
dreamed of acting but never dared to consider it as a possible career. An old
friend of his father, a former actor, said that while he wouldn't wish an acting
career on his worst enemy, he encouraged Wolf to explore the profession of
acting as a career. After finishing school, Wolf enrolled at HB Studio in New
York and decided to make the move to Hollywood.
Wolf landed the first job he ever auditioned for and has continued to work
steadily, transitioning from commercials to guest spots on various television
shows, including a recurring role on the series Evening Shade.
Wolf's feature credits include Killing Emmett Young, Go, The Evening Star (the
sequel to Terms of Endearment, opposite Juliette Lewis and Shirley McClaine),
White Squall and Double Dragon.
Most recent stage credits include the Huntington Theatre Company's production of
Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, at the Wilber Theatre in
Boston, A. R. Gurney's Far East, at the Williamstown Theater, and the Broadway
production of Side Man.
Wolf currently resides in Utah with his wife during the filming of Everwood.
During his limited free time, you can find him on the golf course or in the
hockey rink.
